Thanks, it seems that now this new FH-HS project has fallen on it's own with the retraction of services by the translator. That isn't good in any way at all. While it's a good thing to have rivals in terms of Manga Scanlation projects, you have to ask whether or not it's ok to have such and open and public rivalry. If members of the project are pulling out due to not wanting to be part of the 'war' then it's a bad thing, especially when it's probably the most important member of the project. I suggest everyone takes a step back and regroups; ask yourselves, what's more important, getting on over on a rival group or getting this project to the public in the fastest and highest quality manner.
the adult thing to do would be to publicly apologise for the snipe and then if you want to do battle, do it by seeing who can get out scans quicker and who can get em out with the best quality. you don't need words to do war when you're doing the same project.
Let's just hope that this HS-FH project won't fall apart for such idiocy as a grudge.
I would have been fine doing it but I can't accept the rep of the FH I really love falling apart because of one lone member being childish and making such mottos why make such a big fuss about it?
I'm in agreement with you Yami. This coupled with the fact that FolenAngel insists on advertising releases on the SoraScans website, it's just distasteful and embarrassing for FH. I do hope that FolenAngel can get it together, perhaps even his superiors over at FH pull him in line, because this is ridiculous. To not only lose public translations but to also lose a scanlation group from the Air Gear community only hurts the fans of the series.
The work you put in was incredibly appreciated, thank you for that. Perhaps, if this is the only issue you have, you could post the translations for public use on MangaHelpers. Just an idea?!
Anyway, i find hope a level of maturity can be found by FolenAngel, which will allow this project to continue.

2. I didn't read the motto, but even imagining the worst.. answer #3 will not change
3. ok people... complaining about quality or some motto that could be a joke or some staff venting their anger on some group they used to work for.. not your business.. what you SHOULD be doing is thanking them for their time and effort as they are not asking you to pay them for each chapter you download from them... why that motto was up.. how that motto got up there.. again, not your business.. just let it go..

It's pretty funny actually :). Sora scans offered up a challenge to the scanlating world.. hellz0ne stepped up to the challenge.. so? maybe hellz0ne didn't EVEN step up to any challenge and just thought they'd make you laugh instead.. so? Why they put it up there? Not your business.. just laugh :).. nothing mean was said. again, I like both hellz0ne and sora scans

First of all; No grudge whatso ever between us (helz0ne) and Sora-scans. Neither do I know who wrote it or why, as it seems pretty useless... From our (helz0nes) side it´s _not_ a decleration of rivality.
I leave it to FHs admins to deal this matter in their base.

Please don't defend Folen. I like Folen but i fully well know the story behind the whole mess as does your admin appear to know the story, according to the release thread on your board.
Basically Folen was working for SoraScans as a distro and they wouldn't let him join the scanlation team so in the end he approached FH and they were all for it. He then took the opportunity to use the SoraScans board to vent a bit of anger, not helped by Aeonsky venting back and then even went as far as to post FH Air Gear release threads on the SoraScans forums. At last check, Aeon stepped down and now Thunder is in charge over there, he's like "fuck it, if it helps air gear then it's win", though Folen couldn't help to get a last snipe at Aeon in.
Now we have this latest release which features a quote from there SoraScans motto and well... you're up to date.
I think pretty much all Air Gear fans are happy to see groups such as FH and HZ doing Air Gear, however what doesn't sit right is the snide remarks, as was said by the admin over at HZ. No one wants to see a group go bust. It's in the best interests of everyone to have multiple groups doing Air Gear as quickly and as high quality as possible.
Ops, I think I mistook Folen for another person - lately we had many recruits and I thought he was part of our team too, but I was wrong - he's only moderator. And I had no idea about the whole thing.
Anywayz... let's stop further discussion regarding this matter, cuz I think everything that could be said have been said already, there's no 'motto' anymore and there won't be anything like that in the future.
