naruto has large chakra pool because of the merging of the fox's chakra and his own, also because of the need for a high chakra pool to hold back the fox. the baby would not have a kyuubi in his belly so he would not have that.

Chakra = stamina and stamina = work work work.

If i ran on a treadmill every day of my life untill i was 16 or whatever naruto is i would be dead or have extremely high stamina. I am pretty sure that is what it was like fending off the kyuubi naruto's whole life.

kakshi is the same way he has that constant drain of chakra from his forever active eye that he too probably has a huge stamina pool. His problem he can't turn off the leak so is stamina is never full.
