You honestly don't think a Captain could cut/pierce him with her Shikai? This is not even a slash we're talking about, this is a thrust focusing her force at one point.

I'm not even sure if they were serious. Sounds like a big joke.

Although I think it happening would be incredibly stupid, with the amount of Kenpachitards on the net, I'm sure Kubo wouldn't dare risk their ire by making Kenpachi vulnerable like that.
